According to CoinDesk, the Ethereum Foundation has struck a deal with Russian state-owned development bank Vnesheconombank (VEB). The hope of the partnership is to development a community of Ethereum experts in Russia.

According to CoinDesk, Israeli regulators are preparing to study initial coin offerings (ICOs) to see how they’re applicable to domestic securities laws.

According to Forbes, Blockchain CEO Peter Smith has claimed that a top 30 government in the world will launch a digital currency within the next 24 months. The comments were made during Smith’s appearance on This Week in Startups.

According to Bleeping Computer, nearly 3,000 cryptocurrency miners were exposed online via Telnet ports without passwords.
