According to CNBC, companies are buying bitcoin to pay off hackers in cases of cyber attacks. This claim was made by CyberArk’s Udi Mokady to “Mad Money” host Jim Cramer.

According to CoinDesk, Ukrainian lawmakers have revealed holdings of more than $45 million worth of bitcoin. The three legislators are said to be part of the largest grouping of legislators in the Parliament.

Blockstream has announced a satellite project on their company blog. According to the post, the project will broadcast real-time Bitcoin transactions and blocks from a group of satellites in space.

According to ETF.com, a number of new, regulated financial products tied to bitcoin could be traded on exchanges by the end of the year. A bitcoin ETF could even be just around the corner.

According to CoinDesk, a Bitcoin bill has been delayed in Russia. Russian lawmakers are said to be searching for an “optimal solution” to the regulation of cryptocurrencies in the country.
